When I first started geocaching back in December 2003, I started off as Cachegeek but was looking for a signature item that I could leave behind in caches. Something that would be cheap but unique. It dawned on me that dominoes were fairly cheap, especially if i could pick up a set in dollar stores and that would give me more than 30 signature items per buck. I then changed my name to domheknows – a pun on the signature item and the fact that I knew where the cache was. My first set of dominoes were fairly unique in that I had a tinyurl link written on them to link back to geocaching.com, with the intent to make them similar to travel bugs but then I ran out of white dominoes and it was a lot of effort to maintain – but if you find one let me know (They are all in the uk).
