Central Ohio Geocaching (the local cache group to where I'm staying have a website with forums and everything at www.cogeocaching.org. Unfortunately they got hacked by the santy worm but everything is ok now (and I've finally managed to get my account working on there too)
I purchased a copy of Microsoft Street and Trips 2005 from Walmart yesterday as they were the cheapest that I could find. This software is basically a US version of autoroute so it means that all the things I'm used to with Autoroute in the UK work with this version. It allows me to import data from a query within GSAK and show me the caches in Ohio near me. The only downside is that I didn't have the synch cable with me so I can't download the new version of PocketStreets and Trips and see if it will work with the gps on the pda. None-the-less, a printout of the local area enabled me to get several caches this morning.
Pictures from Arrks Other Wedgewood are now online and I appear at the top!
The snow that has fallen has put oaid to a lot of my caching plans but I saw a 14mph sign today which is a locationless cache. I hope to get 3 or 4 other caches done as I now have the shoes and trousers but it depends on getting access to a car to drive to the various sites.
