I got a Gameboy Advance (color!) at a garage sale a week and a bit ago, and got some used games from a store -- but because both items were used, there were some saved games on the player, and therefore it wouldn't let me start at the beginning of the game!!
So after a bit of googling... I found this website, and under the FAQs was how to clear the Super Mario Bros. Deluxe memory -- while on the regular game file screen that comes up, select a file for clearing/deleting and press the start button and then press the A button twice until it says No Yes -- use the down arrow key to highlight Yes and press the A button one more time and then it should show the word "New" above the file.
whohoo!
Posted by kristen at June 27, 2005 10:08 PMGreat article, I just bought a Game Boy Color off of Ebay & it came with Mario Bros. Deluxe & almost broke the game trying to get it open to remove & replace the battery, just trying to erase the memory & that didn't work so I decided to search it on the net & I found this site & now I happy. Thanks.....Peace.
