We had a great time. Mia was soo funny -- Dad and Bri taught her that song and she just loved the *clapclapclapclapclap* part. It was a fantastic time with family. I really loved getting to know Katie (my brother David's wife -- they were the ones married last Sept) much much better -- she's such a cool chic! And I enjoyed time with Ali (my other sister-in-law) at Barnes & Nobles. Katie even french braided my hair one of the days and as we sat there we both enjoyed the "sister" moment even more because neither of us had a sister growing up.
Mia was hilarious at the wedding reception -- they had a live band -- a real cowboy. It was hysterical, Mom and Dad and Ali had been telling Mia about cowboys -- she even has a book about cowboys, and then while we were sitting at the designated Ciarochi table, the door near us opened and in walked a real cowboy! Mia was pretty scared at first because he had a long beard and long hair in a pony tail and he was pretty tall and he just plain scared her in his cowboy hat and boots. Then finally he was set up and up on stage playing his guitar and she was his new best friend!! She was soo funny about dancing -- she didn't dance hardly at all with the music from the cd they were playing before the band, but once the band began she was a dancer!!
