You know, I got an Honest Tea with the same quote. And I was wondering who Bette Reese is. I can't seem to find anything about her. I did see one google link indicating she was a poet, but the related page must have changed because there was no other information about her on the web page. Looking up the quote is how I found your site.
Who is/was Bette Reese? If you know, would you let me know?

(I just had half a thyroid removed, too. It's not so bad. Worse part was sickness from the anaesthesia. I wish you well with it.)
