The quick and dirty pictures (no not that kind) of The Ultimate Event 2003 are now online - actually there were online within 2 hours of the event last night. I've not bothered editing, formatting or rotating the pictures yet - that'll be done in the near future. The first band, Supervision, were not bad - having won the battle of the bands, but the next billing, Superhero will really awful. Total lack of stage prescence and the music was not good. yFriday came on and were great as usual - this was the third time I'd seen them - the fourth time will be in two hours time! thebandwithnoname came on after them and although I'm not that keen on their type of music the crowd loved it and their stage antics - the old style rap music complete with the hand movements and breakdancing (the funniest thing was the sign language interpreter translating the words as her hands made her look like she was joining in the rapping!). Finally and eventually Audio Adrenaline came on set, complete with a wicked mohican/mohawk wearing Will and played loads of songs - half of which I didn't recognise. AND they played my favourite song whilst I was queueing up for the disgusting loo :-(
Good night was had by all though - can't wait for next year, which will be the tenth anniversary.Update Page now has all the pictures the right way up and some of them have been cropped to make it a bit easier to view.
