I'm fed up of getting spam messages to my mobile, so each one I get is now filed with ICSTIS as a formal complaint. Hopefully it will get some of these spammers shutdown. Update To answer Kelly's question in the comments, It was an sms - short message service (text) to the phone so they didn't call. In the uk we don't pay to receive calls on the mobile either - just to make them (although you have often have to have a monthly subscription to keep your phone active). its annoying getting a message at 20 past midnight when the phone bleeps and lights like a maniac. It is illegal to send messages to your phone promising that you've won prizes but that you need to make a premium rate phone call to claim them - often just holiday vouchers which you can get anyway and only good if you spend 200 quid with the company in the first place. I've now registered my number with the Telephone Preference Service which does make it illegal for these companies to sms me after 28 days have passed.
