I took the TruSecure TICSA

I took the TruSecure TICSA sample security exam just to see how I would do. Some of the sections I had no idea what they were on about, but others were pretty easy. One assumption that the exam seems to take is that you know or assume you are talking about a Windows System. I was quite pleased to find out that I had passed with 74%, passmark being 67%. The good thing is that the end result shows you what you need to improve upon, in my case PKI and digital certificates (I just didn't know the terminology). Some of the other sections were "which is the best......." which are always subjective and tricky to answer if you don't know the examining companies preferred answers. Overall I'm quite pleased, will swot up some more and take the real exam.
