Cool Tube theories

London's Major Ken Livingstone asked people for ideas on cooling the tube as it gets really hot down there. The BBC hosted the competition and has put up 16 entries which are really funny.

Some of the ideas are terrible and you know this, however why not use the air convection and creat a suction on the undercarage of the train. a sort of air con on the floor of the train which will circulate the air simply and keep passanges comfortable which correct me if im wrong is the aim. not to freeze them but make them as comfortable as possible in the most cost effective way.

I would like to enter the cool the tube contest and send you my designs if at all possible as i use the tube regularly and it would be good to see it being to practical use to make everyone feel more comfortable travelling.
