As you might tell we didn't get our pizza tonight. The extended details has the complaint I submitted to Domino's. Note that this is a complaint so appropriate language has to be used (and yes I do realise its only a pizza!! Papa John's doesn't have a pizza outlet near us - their nearest one is a good 35 minute drive from home) In the meantime I strongly recommend that nobody attempts to order a pizza from Domino's in Macclesfield.
This evening we had the misfortune of trying to place an order for two pizza's from the Macclesfield Branch at 7.15pm. After being told it would be 20 minutes we drove the 15 miles to the branch only to find the pizza wasn't ready.
My wife stayed in the branch for another 40 minutes and the pizza was still not ready. She was told the pizza would be "a few more minutes" when we arrived, 10 minutes after that and then again 10 minutes after that. Whilst she was waiting there were two more telephone calls from customers to complain that they had received the wrong items on their order.
After waiting 40 minutes in the store, with no sign of a pizza we left the store and had to drive the 15 miles back home to eat somewhere else. I can not understand how a pizza can take more than 40 minutes to cook whilst waiting in the store, after the cooking time it has had whilst we drove to the Macclesfield when the orginal order time was 20 minutes from placing the order.
May I suggest that you immediately take investigative action to see how this branch is conducting business and take preventative action to ensure that customers actually get their pizzas, get the right ingredients on the pizzas and get them on time!
Having employees who are over the age of 18 and actually work rather than flirt with their colleagues might be a good start.
In the meantime I am very disappointed that we wasted a 30 mile round trip, 90 minutes of our time and were unable to enjoy the pizza we were looking forward to.
I would appreciate your comments on this matter and details of how your company are going to rectify this situation.
