Windows Ultimate Bootcd

Friend of mine had a problem with a virus infection - or thats how this evenings call started. I had previously downloaded the Windows Ultimate Boot CD which looked really good. There is also a link on this site to QEMU for Windows - a iso emulator so you can test iso's before burning to cd. This tool is really good although i did find that using it with WUBCD I got an error loading one of the menu files, but at least it proved the iso was readable and bootable. Both these tools are well worth downloading if you frequently have to do diagnostics/repairs on friends pc's. One of the reasons I went for WUBCD is that you can update the av software and then burn another iso fairly easily - although i think i'm going to have to write some sort of batchfile to automate this process.
The annoying thing is that when I went round the friends house it turns out that the motherboard is probably fried as the monitor, mouse and keyboard show no signs of life when the machine is switched on.
