Allied Carpets stink.

I don't know why I bothered to believe them when they said sure you can have a first thing appointment.....When I rang at 11am to find out where the fitter was they wanted to know where my house was - shouldn't this have been decided BEFORE the day of the fitting? They then argue over the "first thing" - saying it was an am fitting.
Well its now 12.20 and still no sign of them. I have much better things to do on a Saturday than sit in for an appointment - there are caches to be found!
Update 12.30 he arrived

so ring them up and vent your spleen-- it was the woman (think her name might be Ann?) who told me it was going to be the first one of the day (and I'm CERTAIN she said it was going to be first thing, because I remember thinking that would be good, because then you could get it over with and go caching). So RING THEM.
