Apparently there are vulnerabilities in Wordpress which was announced yesterday. Thankfully I'm not running wordpress but I know other people are.

I checked out the WP website and saw nothing of this, nor in their Support forums. I wound up making a post with regards to the vulnerability so hopefully a patch will be made available soon. I'm actually running nighly builds so hopefully it was fixed in that.
Eh well, just proves that nothing out there is secure. MT of course had some back in the day, Mozilla/FireFox ones are out there, etc, etc, etc... *sigh*
well this is an interesting site http://secunia.com/ , but not only is word press listed so is 999,999 other programs, considering that all internet products have vulnerabilities, including movable type.
to believe otherwise would be foolish and living in denial.. i mean that would be like saying one doesnt have to update their virus program any more..
