Can you strangle a fly?

Being sick must do something to your brain as this afternoon we were discussing whether you could strangle a fly or not. (There is actually a sane reason why we were saying this but that spoils the story). Apparently it turns out that you can't strangle a fly. But fear not, you can drown them instead - its funny how the last line of the page ends with this reassuring fact.
