Apparently if you use FAT32 on your system partition and use the GUI interface to schedule cronjobs in NT4 or Windows2000, the scheduled jobs will fail to run after the time change back to Daylight Savings Time as the permissions get corrupted. Guess how I worked that one out! (and no it's not my preference to use the GUI or have fat32 c: drives.)
