Yesterday we had a potluck at church \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Kristen and I made green bean casserole \u00e2\u20ac\u201c as did about 5 other families in the church. Unfortunately we were watching a film so decided that it would wait just 5 more minutes\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6..until we checked the oven and the topping was just a little bit browner than normal \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
Still, it was edible and several people ate some of it, but there was plenty to bring home. There was also tons of turkey left over so we got a bag of turkey meat, so I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m already having turkey sandwiches \u00e2\u20ac\u201c before Thanksgiving!<\/p>\n
We had a great time \u00e2\u20ac\u201c got to know a few more people from church \u00e2\u20ac\u201c you really do get to know people the more you put in and join in with various events. A couple of weeks ago I helped paint the nursery, which was good fun and it looks really nice too. <\/p>\n
We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re going to be pretty busy at church between now and Christmas \u00e2\u20ac\u201c there is a concert coming up which sounds like it will be fun and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be attending the rehearsals for the various christmas services too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
